EASTER MASSES for HOLY WEEK

To help people take part in the ceremonies during Holy Week, we are also listing the ceremonies from the Cathedral of St. Mary and St. Anne led by Bishop Fintan Gavin.

Holy Thursday – 1st April

10am – Chrism Mass for the Cathedral

 6pm – Mass of the Lord’s Supper (will be recorded in Ballinadee Church)

Good Friday – 2nd April

12 noon – Stations of the Cross from Ballinadee Church

2pm – Celebration of the Lord’s Passion – recorded in Ballinspittle Church

3pm – Celebration of the Lord’s Passion from the Cathedral

Holy Saturday – 3rd April

9pm – Easter Vigil from the Cathedral. Bishop Gavin hopes that the celebration of the Easter Vigil in the Cathedral will be a diocesan celebration where the whole diocesan family can gather virtually. We invite you to join with other parishes in the Diocese to join together in prayer.

Easter Sunday – 4th April 10am – Mass from Ballinspittle Church which will include the blessing of the Paschal Candle, blessing of Holy Water and the renewal of Baptism promises
